1968 Gibson B-15 Mahogany

We have had some great "player's grade" vintage guitars come in the store lately, and this 1968 Gibson B-15 is a great choice for someone looking for a vintage instrument at a more affordable price. 

Though the Gibson B-15 is known as a spruce top instrument, this one is clearly a mahogany top (and not the first mahogany top we've seen. Basically a rebranded LG-0, this all-mahogany ladder braced instrument is a perfect guitar for someone looking to play old time backup and/or fingerstyle blues. The ladder bracing gives the sound a very quick decay, just like the old recordings we know and love. 

This guitar is in great condition, with plenty of finish checking giving it just the right amount of vintage mojo. 

Non-original chipboard case included.
