1949 Gibson L-7 Natural

We love archtop guitars here at Acoustic Corner, and this 1949 Gibson L7 (serial number A3230) is an absolute stunner. While the majority of L7's were finished in sunburst, a natural finish was available starting in 1939. We are glad this one is finished in natural to highlight the beautiful birds-eye maple back and sides. 

Besides the pickguard and frets, this instrument is all original and in amazing condition. It has a new pickguard, but the old one (though in two pieces) is still inside of the original case. 

It professionally refretted by long-time Asheville luthier Jack Dillon in 2017, who also repaired a small back crack on the upper bout.
