Freshly arrived form our friends at Pisgah Banjos, the Rambler Dobson Special is arguably one of the best looking banjos in the Pisgah line. We love to order this one in the lovely and dark combination of walnut with a copper spun-over rim. The easily removable Dobson tone ring gives this beautiful banjo the perfect amount of old-time "cluck".

Similar to the Rambler Dobson but with a few upgrades.  Available in walnut or cherry, this banjo comes with an aged copper or brass rim in 11" or 12". The softer metal gives this banjo a little warmer tone while maintaining sustain and projection.  Another upgrade to this banjo is the Pisgah Hawktail tailpiece. This allows for more downward pressure on the bridge so that there is better clarity on each note.
