This iconic and eye catching guitar came into production in 1954 as a concept guitar designed by jazz guitarist Jimmie Webster. The guitar was originally presented at the 1954 NAMM show and became so popular that it was released to the public one year later.

Webster was a car fanatic and the details on this guitar definitely captures the likeness of some luxury brands with its gold finishes, sparkly binding, winged headstock, and falcon engraving.

This guitar was designed with jazz sensibilities but fits easily into rock & roll and country music, having been played by Joe Strummer of The Clash, Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones, Neil Young, and John Frusciante of The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

2 Classic TV Jones Pickups (3-Position Toggle), 25.5" scale length, 22 frets, B6G Bigsby Tailpiece, and comes with a hardshell case!  These Japanese made Gretsch guitars are amazing, and this one is as clean as it gets. Come by and check it out!
