Circa 1980 Jose Ramirez Copy Classical Guitar

This guitar is a great example of a hand-made instrument with a beautiful custom rosette. It features a cedar top, Indian rosewood back and sides and an ebony fingerboard. The guitar has the typical Spanish sound with deep bass and clear singing trebles that balance well with the bass. It has a natural resonance and reverb quality. It was purchased in 1993 from We Buy Guitars in New York City on 48th street.

The condition of the guitar is very good condition with very minimal play wear. . This instrument was brought to the  Guitar Salon International for review but they were unable to identify the luthier. A colleague who studies classical guitar and has an in depth knowledge of instruments confirmed it's a Jose Ramirez copy based on the rosette and build. Tuners were upgraded in 2018 to Genuine Schaller Germany Classical Guitar Lyra Tuners 3x3 Nickel with Ebony Buttons. Includes locking, hardshell case.
