Circa 1942 National Tricone Roundneck
$2,999.00
This killer sounding National Tricone is a bit of a mystery to us. Firstly, it has a well made replacement neck, so no serial number is available.
Secondly, National ceased production of all metal-body guitars in 1942 due to the ongoing war effort, though a handful of very knowledgeable colleagues have confirmed that this is indeed a late model tricone.
What style it is remains a mystery, though it is highly probable that with it's brass body it could be an M-3 with it's woodgrain enamel sanded off.
The result is a "players grade" National guitar that sounds absolutely fantastic and is considerably more affordable than a pristine roundneck from that era.
Hard case included.
