Circa 1900 Caspar da Salo #2
$1,899.00
It's rare enough to see one Caspard da Salo violin in the shop, let alone two!
Brought back to life by our good friend Brandon Johnson, this Dresden made violin has seen it's fair share of repairs, however every repair has been extremely well. The fun part was seeing the repair label from right here in Asheville! Beautiful scroll work and Maginni style double purfling. Exceptional flame on the maple back and neck.
This instrument is currently setup with Thomastik Prazision strings and a Wittner tailpiece. This violin is bright, clear, and throaty with tons of volume. Very responsive. Great bluegrass or country fiddle!
