Circa 1900 Caspar de Salo in Brescia Violin
$2,399.00
Though we see many German Strad copies along with the occasional Amati, Guarneri, Hopf, Stainer, etc, it is quite rare for us to have a Caspar de Salo in the store.
This turn of the century German workshop violin is lightweight, responsive, and sweet with clean, clear bass and soaring trebles. Currently setup with D'Addario Helicore strings and a Wittner tailpiece.
This over 100 year old violin is in great shape with no major cracks or repairs.
Includes a vintage hard shell case.
