Alvarez's award-winning Artist Series guitars feature hand-picked tops, a thin & clear glossy finish, and a bi-level bridge that increases string tension. The extra tension improves sustain and response. Alvarez states that "the personality and voicing of Artist Series is open, dynamic and instantly responsive" and we certainly agree!

We love the look and feel of the soft V profile 12-fret neck, and the slotted headstock rounds out the vintage styling. It's all mahogany construction gives it the look of the 17-series Martins of yesteryear with a more friendly price. Outstanding instrument!
