2016 Waterloo WL-14LTR
2016 Waterloo WL-14LTR
If you are looking for a fantastic clone of an L-00 or Kalamazoo style guitar then look no further. This 2016 Kalamazoo WL-14LTR has all the mojo and tone of those great small-bodied guitars of the 1930's right down to the super cool firestripe pickguard, stenciled logo, and V neck shape. This particular guitar has also been upgraded with an adjustable truss rod.
Made by Collings guitars starting in 2014, the incredibly popular Waterloo guitar line was an unfortunate casualty of the pandemic, causing these great guitars to be extremely scarce. The Austin, Texas based company apparently makes only a few of these a year and has devoted all production to Collings guitars. It's unclear whether or not these have been completely discontinued, but they are a rare find nonetheless.
This guitar has some moderate play wear, with a handful of top dings and pick scratches, but that's also why it sounds so good! Fresh setup from our good friend Mark Burin.
Original hard case included.
