2010 Martin Custom D Classic

A great deal for anyone looking to get into a great sounding Martin for a great price, this 2010 Custom D classic (serial number 1432324) is in fantastic shape for being a 15-year old instrument. Very minor play and fret wear, and look like it might have hand a pickup at one time due to the enlarged endpin opening. Original case included.

The Martin Custom D Acoustic Guitar comes with simple appointments and a modest price that make it reminiscent of the 15 Series Martin guitars of the 1940s. The Custom D guitar eschews vintage all-mahogany construction for a select solid Sitka spruce top with lighter bracing for big projection. The guitar's solid East Indian rosewood back and sides produce ringing punch and sustain. The modified low-oval mahogany neck is set with a mortise-and-tenon neck joint and has an adjustable truss rod and solid Indian rosewood fingerboard. The body and neck are bound in white-colored binding. The Custom D guitar also has a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, dot fretboard inlays, rosewood headstock overlay, and an inlaid single-ring rosette.
