There is quite a bit of internet chatter over what "LG" actually stands for . . .some say "learners guitar" or "little guitar" and we have even heard "ladies guitar".

Whatever it stands for, the LG series have to be one of the most comfortable body shapes ever, just ask Chris Stapleton.

The LG-0 was the entry level model with its all mahogany construction and ladder bracing.

This example from 1964 is very clean, with only the slightest fret wear and handful of dings. It even has the original gator chipboard case!

For these years it has the much debated plastic bridge which is pulling slightly showing a gap between the bridge and top. This is typical for these, as I had a same year B-25 that did the same thing. However, these bridges are bolted on, so no worries!

We strung this one with Martin Retro Monel strings, giving it a warm vintage tone that is perfect for old time backup or fingerstyle blues with it's short decay.

Great deal on a vintage Gibson!
