1960 Gibson J-50 ADJ
Often overshadowed by it's sunburst cousin the J-45, the Gibson J-50 is an identical instrument minus the sunburst. . . .and can often be found for much less!!
This 1960 (Factory Order R) Gibson J-50 is in amazing condition for a sixty-four year old instrument, and has that dry, warm and round sound that only a vintage slope shoulder can deliver.
This instrument has had no major repairs, no cupping of the pickguard, and still has it's original tuners. The adjustable porcelain bridge is part of the magic of this era of J-50's, and has no chips, cracks or any other imperfections. The bridge has been off at one point, and the bridge wings show slight indentations from clamping. Overall it has typical play wear, finish checking, and some various obvious capo marks on the back of the neck.
Great sounding Gibson dreadnought!! Comes with a non-original hard shell case.
