One of our favorite stock models, the Larrivée OM-40 might just be the perfect acoustic guitar. The smaller OM body shape makes this guitar incredibly comfortable, while it's mahogany back and sides and full 25.5" scale give it power, volume, and substantial low end that's incredibly impressive and responsive without the "boominess" of a 18-style dreadnought. 

Equally at home in your local old time jam or singer/songwriter circle, the humble OM-40 delivers an incredibly balanced tone for discerning finger style player as well plenty of headroom for heavy handed rhythm players.
