It's no secret that we are a big fan of Larrivée guitars, and this newly arrived 00-40R is no exception. Larrivée makes all of their guitars (expect parlors) at a full 25.5" scale length, making even their small-bodied guitars sound huge.
We ordered this one with an upgraded Alpine Moon Spruce top for extra sparkle on the top end. The Moon Spruce combined with the small yet powerful 00-size body and Indian Rosewood back and sides make for an incredibly versatile instrument with deep, full bass, crystalline highs, and soaring overtones. Truly a fantastic guitar!
