c.1922 Gibson TB-4 with 2022 Carl Arcand Neck Conversion
$3,999.00
Here is a fresh arrival that is sure to not last long. . .
With a batch number starting with 11, that puts this Victor Kraske designed TB-4 rim made between 1922 and February of 1925.
This innovative hollow-chambered wooden rim design was famously used by Gibson starting in 1918, creating a unique, resonant tone with haunting, focused overtones unlike a solid-rim instrument with or without a tone ring.
The beautiful conversion neck, skin head, and setup were all completed and installed by esteemed Quebec-based banjo builder Carl Arcand.
Amazing instrument!
Heavily padded gig bag included.
