2015 Royce Burt/Ron Stewart 5-string Violin

Starting its life (most likely) as an imported "in the white" violin set up by Royce Burt of Plant City, FL, this outstanding sounding 5-string was re-voiced in March of this year by Nashville based fiddler and banjo player Ron Stewart , an IBMA winner on both instruments, and current member of the seldom Scene. 

This instrument is lightweight, responsive, and articulate. Without a doubt the best 5-string to come in here in many years. 

Currently set up with D'Addario Helicore.
