This 2004 Deering Tenbrooks Saratoga Star is in unbelievable shape for a twenty-two year old instrument. This amazing sounding and playing banjo has very minimal play and fret wear.
Serial number 04 0804 0006 means that this banjo was completed in April of 2004, and in fact is the 8th one of this model made by Deering.
These earlier pre-2006 models have the sand-cast Jens Kruger Swiss made tone ring by Rüetschi.
Absolutely gorgeous flame maple neck and resonator.
