1959 Gibson LG-2

One of our favorite small-bodied guitars, this amazing sounding and playing 1959 Gibson LG-2 has been with the same owner since 1970. 

Overall this instrument is in great shape for being 67 years old, with typical play wear and some fret wear in first position only. This guitar has not had a neck reset, and there is still more than enough saddle for action adjustments. There is a couple repaired back cracks and some "buckle rash" though it is curiously further down the lower bout than normal. You might notice it also has bass side Kluson tuners on the treble side . . . .no telling how long it has been like that for, but it of course does not affect the sound in any way.

Incredibly responsive with rich and focused overtones. 

A chipboard case is included, but an upgrade is always an option.
