The Gibson L-7 has consistently been a player favorite; it is the wallet friendly alternative to the acclaimed L5.

This outstanding example has a barely visible "H" stamped between the batch and instrument number, dating this particular L7 to 1942. This instrument also boasts some ridiculous Birds Eye maple complimenting the sunburst spruce top.

This instrument is in amazing condition with a few upgrades for the working musician. It has a replaced pick guard, Grover Imperial tuners, as well as a Kent Armstrong floating hum bucker making this fine arch top gig-ready.

There are a handful of scrapes, scratches, and a bit of buckle rash, but this is normal wear and tear for an 83 year old instrument.

There are two repaired hairline cracks on the sides near the neck joint, but no other major repairs to speak of.

Comes with a new molded SKB flight case.
