This guitar has the same body shape as the L-40R, however the top is made from coveted high-altitude moon spruce. Moon spruce is usually harvested at least 1,000 feet above sea level during seasons when sap levels are low. A low moisture content, a light weight, and a vibrant treble-heavy musical character have made it a prized choice for stringed instruments for centuries.
