2009 John Kinnaird OM

2009 John Kinnaird OM
We have been admiring John's guitars for quite some time, and we are very pleased to finally have one in the shop. Boasting a lovely bear-claw Adirondack spruce top and African Blackwood back and sides, this guitar is the perfect vehicle for the discerning fingerstyle guitarist. This instrument is VERY responsive with tight bass, crystalline trebles, and that lovely midrange punch that only a small-bodied guitar can deliver. We love the slotted headstock, and the Waverly tuners are the obvious choice for an instrument of this quality. The sound port on the upper bout is a lovely addition and almost acts as a "monitor" for the player. I picked this guitar up, started playing, and an hour just flew by!! That's when you know you have a great instrument.
