1981 Gibson ES-335 Dot

Here is an unbelievably clean cherry red ES335 from the early Nashville days. In fact, the label says both Nashville, TN and Kalamazoo,  MI and I believe these early 80's dots were still being manufactured in the original Kalamazoo factory. It is labeled as a second due to an almost unnoticeable finish blemish on the bass side upper bout, which you really have to look hard to find. 

The pickups absolutely growl, but switch to the neck pickup and roll down the tone control and this ES-335 has gorgeous warm and full jazz tones. With it's versatility, there is no surprise why the ES335 has been one of the go to guitars for both stage and studio work. Just ask Larry
