1956 Martin D-18

This 1956 Martin D18, serial number 147948, is in fantastic shape for it's 67 years. 

Perhaps one the most famous guitars in history, along with the D28, this outstanding instrument features a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and mahogany neck with a super comfortable soft V profile.  The nitrocellulose finish has a beautiful light checking on this very clean example. 

This guitar is everything you want a Martin D18 to be, with it's fast and crisp attack, and soaring overtones. Loud, clear, articulate, and extremely lightweight, this guitar will cut through any mix in the hands of a flatpicker or singer/songwriter alike.
