Our good friend Brandon Johnson has been repairing and regraduating older German violins for quite a few years now. He also started to build, and we were elated when he wanted to hang his No.2 violin on our wall. Inspired by a violin built in the Perry shop in Dublin, Ireland in 1821 , this instrument boasts an engelmann spruce top with hard maple back and sides, rosewood fittings, and D'Addario Helicore strings. Great projection, articulation, and clarity with plenty of volume.
