Made in Mirecourt, France, an area with rich a history of violin making, this beautifully-flamed Amati copy violin is light as a feather and incredibly responsive. With sweet, singing highs and rich, articulate bass, this remarkably preserved instrument would be equally at home in the Orchestra or the Honky Tonk. Deep brown varnish with an aged to perfection spruce top and deeply flamed back, ribs and neck. Ebony fittings and Wittner tailpiece, currently strung with Warchal Karneol synthetic core strings.
